It appears to be a 10 Para coin from the Ottoman Empire.. If it's real, more research needed.

I saw the pictures. Yes that's it. Your pictures are better seen. WOW. How did it come to me… What do you recommend?

dav2no1, Wow, it sure looks like you nailed it and you're right about it needing more research.

I decided to try numista dot com, and while they have a Ottoman Enpire 10 Para coin from the reign of Sultan Abdülmecid I (there seems to be some wobble room on the years), not only does the design not look the same, it's not even the same metal (it's copper):

Perhaps part of the problem is that 1255 (1839) was before the big currency reform:

My country Serbia was in the Ottoman Empire for 500 years. My great-grandfather was a Turk. Although that doesn't connect the coin with him. I found it in a place where people say there are tombs from the Ottoman Empire. Very interesting

Stefanyyy, The presence of tombs could explain it.

this seems the most logical i haven,t done research , because all reverses got
an accession date 1255 !!! i just took some Toughra
    12. apostata apostata, 2 years ago
an accession date 1255 makes the research elaborate , i don,t put futher effort in this spread is probably a few years years
