I purchased this vase at a a thrift store. I believe it is Japanese Cloisonné, but there are no discernible marks on the base. It appears there may have been a stamp, or a slight etching of a signature, but it has since worn away. The vase has a delicate Greek key fret around the top and bottom at the rims. There is a distinctive red star that serves as the stamen of the most pronounced flower.
The vase is quite large and heavy, measuring 12" high, and about 6" wide. Might anyone know anything about it, or can take a guess on it's age?

tried the databank tried sheiffer ,try to find tried to computerise the mark for studioware , tried to sakura relief for the bottom , nothing came up
i am an rooky in japanese porcelain IMO there is not spread here ( i maybe blundering rudely ) i a lot of Taisho - and MEIJJI
for what it is worth until the big shots come in , it is late meijji
IMO this moderate and up value, for what is worth , i think it is a hell of a piece
