Why do you call it a ladies watch? Your best bet, is to open it up and get the movement numbers. That will help accurately ID it.
A lot of the 50s and 60s gentleman's watched were smaller size. Here's my 50s Omega watch. It's very small compared to today's watches.

My husband felt like it was a ladies watch because it was so small. It has M5 on the back, 1965?
