Does anybody know what this style of tape is called? Or what the brand is? I got it at an auction in Ontario, along with a Lufkin W9212 and a Lufkin Crescent no.696.

Did you inspect the tape closely for a name?

Yes sir. I pulled the tape 98% out and checked both sides. I also checked the inside of the unit as far as I could see and there was no markings. The only clue I have is that my dad said that he remembers his dad having a similar one when my dad was a kid, circa 1955.
