Welcome to CW. Wow, that's super cool! I need to find one for my collection. It appears to be a minotaur?
Actually..after a closer look..what I thought were horns are actually ears. So I am not sure what it is. Still cool though..
I showed this to my sister. She showed me a piece she has..hers is smaller and it's hands are on a tall box. The body is similar ..skinny with a grass skirt. But on hers the head is different..looks similar shape, but hers is an elephant like. She bought it at an auction years ago and definitely marked carved in Thailand.
This one has no markings on it anywhere. Thank you for your response and see
