    Purchased in about 1989 and was misplaced.. the cards have never been removed from box so I assume they would be in mint condition. No interest in sports cards so they will soon be sold in the box

      Unfortunately around that time, many sports stores were doing exactly that. Storing brand new unopened boxes by the dozens instead of releasing them. That was start of the downhill slide..
