Looking for opinions on whether or not this badge is authentic. It looks like it has some age, but nowadays, you just can’t tell. Thanks in advance for the help.

There are a tremendous amount of these, identical to this one, available on the eBay and other internet sites. So, I'm thinking it's not authentic. But, still a great piece to own.
