      Based on how it is photographing, mainly purple with glints of magenta & peacock blue, it looks to me like a lab grown color change sapphire, sometimes mistakenly IDed as synthetic alexandrite. If this is correct, the stone will look different under different light sources. Incandescent, daylight fluorescent & UV all bring out different colors.
