Recently been to the auction and bought a magnificent pair of Art Nouveau vases from Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland (PZH) 1926? I would like to learn more about the specific painter named "anger?" Thank you so much.

This set of vases is indeed from 1926. Anger is not the decorator, but the name of the decoration. The vase model is 988. The remaining letters are "H" and "C" on one vase and "W" on the other. Because the latter two letters are the same color as the rest of the mark, I suspect the decorators added them. This decoration was mass-produced, or what we call assembly-line work.

BTW, this set of vases was purchased for 27.50 guilders, the currency in the Netherlands before the introduction of the euro.
