I've had this vase for a while, but I recently discovered it has a mark. I believe it says Christensen. Naturally, I searched the internet and found an Etsy page offering a vase with the same mark. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information because the seller didn't know which Christensen was the maker. I can, however, tell you that the seller was from the USA.
The vase itself is quite thick-walled and therefore quite heavy for its size. It's probably stoneware. As you can see, it has an irregular surface, and the glaze isn't very subtle.
If it was made by an amateur who might be from the USA, the question is: how did this vase end up in Europe, or vice versa?
I'm hoping the American visitors (or anyone else on this forum) can tell me who this Christensen is.
