This beautiful 1926 Speedster completed its 100th yr. The old guy who restored it back in the 1970s isn’t a longs ways behind it.
The car is very fast and was clocked at over 90. It sports 12 speeds with its Warford Transmission plus the Ruxtel 2 speed rear end plus the original Ford planetary gearbox. Yup it has hydromatic linings on the bands. Sports Hartford shocks, but, like all Ford Ts, it can’t stop any better than a battleship. Very fun car in its day when I was too dumb to know how dangerous it really is. It still has original Babbitt rods and main bearings and the old cast iron pistons. The milled Rajo head gives it much better breathing and compression and headers plus dual SU carbs and racing ignition don’t hurt either. I lov this little car!
