Pictured here is a baby top quart milk bottle that was painted many years ago to serve as kitchen decoration or filled with sand for a door stop. These "folk art" dairy bottles are uniquely painted usually by a family member. There aren't many of these bottles that have survived throughout the years. The baby top design was first introduced in the mid 1930's.









Gorgeous Asian artistry, right down to the hair braid in back...very creative
Thanks Newfld. I am amazed at the effort & detail that was taken by the people who painted these bottles back in the 1930's. I believe this is one of my favorites.
