I am trying to figure out what type of vase I have. It is hand blown and 11.25" tall. The top is beveled on the outside. The pontil mark is polished off. It weighs 1 pound, 5 3/8 ounces. The red is darker than in the upright photos - the photo of the base is truer to how it actually looks (something is happening when photos are taken, I think the yellow shows through?). The last side (not shown) is fully yellow. The clear base varies from 1/4" to 1/2" thick. I am getting answers on the internet that it appears to be a Murano Sommerso Vase, a vase by Floris Meydam for the Glasfabriek Leerdam factory, or a contemporary reproduction from a Chinese or Eastern European manufacturer. I can't find it in any online catalogs.
