I bought this sign in KC, MO about 1988 from an antique dealer/friend, and have finally gotten around to cleaning it up.
There were so many coats of crusty white paint on it you could barely make out the embellishment attachments. Though the framing is oak, I don't believe I will strip and refinish it. I like it just the way it is here.
