Dorothy Ann Herger (b. 1924)
After graduating from San Jose College (1946) where she studied under Herbert Sanders, she continued studies in clay with Antonio Prieto at the California College of Arts and Crafts. She refined her skills further with Marguerite Wildenhain at Pond Farm in Guerneville, California. Dorothy retired in 1985 following a long career teaching art in the San Francisco Bay Area.
