Hello I thought I’d post these interesting earrings, they have markings on them, I think they are either gold plated or rolled gold , no idea how old they are or where they are from , had them over 10 years now.
Just seen it says USA 303, mean anything to anyone?
Steptoe1, Those look to me like the kind of stud earrings that are used in initial piercing (the posts are thick, they have pointed ends, and a little "click stop" on the posts to help the earring backs stay on at a set distance.
Years ago, they were made of nickel (and yes, some were gold-plated for those who wanted gold color); however, at a glance, it looks like nowadays they're more likely to be made from titanium. Probably too many people were developing an allergy to nickel.
No idea about the USA 303.
