I love this unique carving, but I don't know a thing about it. I was told that it is made from Ox Bone. It has a marking on the back of it, I believe saying PT 4193. The work that went into this is unbelievable. About what time frame were items like this made. It's such a conversation piece so I want to educate myself on it. Any input is appreciated.
I have a similar one from my paternal grandmother that has a working water wheel. I don't have any information other than I used to love to play with it when I was a kid. I'll have to post pictures of it when it's unpacked.
