    can anybody date this for me ? great condition except the lace. bought 10 years ago in antique store. it is labeled modeled by veeda louisa in california. also mirimac peachbloom velour imported fur stamp inside.no moth hole dark impressive royal blue in color. not looking to sell just want to age it.

      Sweet lavender hat, going with the crowd on date 1920's era. What a great piece of history, the decade in which women first liberated themselves from constricting fashions and began to wear more comfortable clothes. I can see it now looking at your hat; the young, rebellious, middle-class women, hated by older generations because they exposed their legs and arms. OMG the start of the American womens rights movement. ALL FROM YOUR HAT!
