mid 1950's J. C. Higgins ice skates with original box & blade protectors

I could not resist this at an estate sale last weekend. I bought them bacause they were in very good condition, cost $1.00, in the original box, and reminded me of when I was a kid back in Chicago.
I gave them a good refurbishing and they are ready to do.
I also thought I would include several pics of myself circa 1958, just for fun.
