I bought this at a retro store. How do I tell if it's a real Herman Miller or not? The legs and style look real. Is there a makers mark or stamp I should look for?

It's vintage and cool, but I don't recall seeing this piece in any compendium of Herman Miller.... To be triple-sure, I'd contact the Herman Miller company (website offers several ways to contact) or couple of stores that specialize in mid-century modern... Good luck! Marianne

I'm still digging for the truth about this piece. I really enjoy it. I'm going to post some of my other pieces as soon as I get the chance. Be on the lookout for them. They are all unique or one-of-a-kinds!
