    I have never seen a can like this. It has an easy opening lid as well. It is listed as a "Substitution Proof Can". I figure it may be from the 1930's. Any ideas or comments?

      You might be able to get all you need to know by hitting this site http://sinclairoil.com/history/index.html I believe there is a contact link on there somewhere as well.
