    He is so cute and has all his teeth , I don't know what he is mad of- I know it is not porcelain or plaster- . he is very heavy-don't know if it is chinese or Japanese ..

      Looks like alabaster. He isn't mad he is happy in the pictures you are showing of his face. A happy Buddha is good luck, especially as a wedding gift. The palm of his right hand is cupped and aimed upward and his right foot is aimed upward (sole of the foot). Left hand is palm down. It all has a meaning but we have sold most of our Buddha collection and I forget the meanings of his posture and facial expressions. This one looks like alabaster which is quite heavy. They were mass produced during the 1970's. No markings except the machine marks on the bottom. They were sold in Army PX's for GI's to send home.
