      Thanks Jon, that is a very nice old ruler. The name was changed to the Lincoln National Bank during or at the end of WWI when any name with "German' in it was changed to something more American and patriotic.

      Thanks Militarist for the info. I got that ruler with a bunch of artist brushes at a yard sale. I now know the history of it thanks to you.
