This piece is a Guenther-Luna galss vase. It is about 15-18 years old. I had a Interiors Decorating studio and purchased this piece for sale and fell in love with it and kept it for myself. It stands about 19" tall and the top is flared in a oval shape as most of robert guenther pieces are. See robertguenther.com to see his current collection.
At the time the compnay wa y guenther-luna as signed on the vase. They did split up and now robert is on his own and I don't know about luna?
The piece has a brown aged patina with ball feet and a beautiful glass with the scalloped design in the glass clear base. This piece is worth about $2000-$2800.00 this information is for those of your whom may have a piece like it. I am waiting for robert to return my e-mail with a current insurance value.

Yes I know of the designers. It was actually 2 people. Your piece has become quite collectible & valuable. You can reach Robert Guenther at rgcollections@aol.com. Send a photo he can possibly date confirm. & put a value on it. Mr Guenther is quite nice & accommodating.
I own a large piece that sits on the same type of pedestal as yours.
