antique model canoe, kayak and miniature paddle displays

Over the past 15 years or so, I have been honored to be asked to arrange displays of antique model canoes and kayaks, along with miniature sample paddles for collector groups. Several of these took place at annual shows of the Canadian Decoy & Outdoor Collectible Association. First photo shows the display from Oct. 2011, in Niagara Falls. This year, June 27 to July 1st, 2012, I hope to display at the Annual Assembly of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association, being held at Paul Smith's College, near Lake Placid, NY, in the heart of the Adirondacks. The public is most welcome to attend so, if you're in the nearby area, do stop by. Many WCHA members bring along several lovingly and painstakingly restored older canoes; you will see a hundred or more full-size, rare, historic and antique canoes, along with a fabulous display of rarely seen salesman's samples (many of which are shown in first photo).
