    Matter of fact I love All Gilbert clocks. With my Grandfather being a clock maker there, I always wonder if this is one he made.

      It looks quite old. I know a lot of the late 19th century clocks had big, bodacious bongs! :) Looks like there's more going on with the top of the case. Some decorative woodwork perhaps? If you get a chance, please add a photo or two to show us more detail of the case. Thanks for sharing Misty!
