    We have had this violin in our family for four generations. And now we would like to find out if its actually authentic. From what we can read from the violin on the inside this is what it says:
    Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensio
    Faciebat Anno 1744 (the 44 is handwritten and the 17 is not)
    Made in Germany
