old antique car trunk maybe 1920's

I got this trunk when my Uncle was moving and didn't want it. It has bee years and I had thought I would find a use for it. So I am looking for a unique way to use it. That is what I like to do, Re use something old. Maybe someone can tell me some history for it I would like to know more about it. With no marking that I can see I don't have much to go on. Its black and made of metal, leather handles. On the latch it has MI AUTO LOCK . There are some holes on the bottom that might be how it is held on to the auto.
