Here is an original 1892 watercolor signed 'FM Gamble' and it says 'Arden, Mill Valley, Circus July 16, 1892'. I put it in the frame. I'd love to find out more about it - like who is FM Gamble and what is 'Arden' and what kind of circus was it? it appears to be of a beautiful japanese paper lantern hanging in the redwoods.
