Just noticed that on July 4-7, 1968, Iron Butterfly (remember "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"?) was rocking the Avalon, with support from a couple of bands, including The Collectors. The poster (my postcard is faded) was created by Dottie Hochberg, using images by Sir John Tenniel from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." FD-126, as this one is known among collectors.
