Acquired this in an auction in 1970 along with a Panther Martin automatic flyreel. Have been told many different stories over the years. I'd like to hear any other comments. The reel is wonderful. Works like new. Of course, I don't use it. I'm a spinning fanatic.
Your reel was made by Montague. It is made of German silver (nickel silver) and is collectable.
