Scrimshaw Telephone Belt Buckle

This scrimshaw belt buckle was made for me in 1978 by a friend named Joe Cocke. He worked 33 years at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Joe worked in the departments of vertebrate paleontology, education and animal habitats. After retiring he wrote a book called Fossil Shark Teeth of the World., published in 2002. The buckle is signed on the back J. Cocke 1978.
