This one has me stumped! I was not aware that these signs were being faked, so I pulled the trigger on this, now that it's here I'm in need of some expert advice.
It has definate signs of age front and back, measures 18"x73/4".
My concern is that the script seems somewhat less sharp than my other signs, and it is missing the periods between the trade mark logo.
I did'nt pay a ton of dough for it, so it'll either stay or go to my sister(who collects anything coke!)
Real or fake, my question to you!!

I have about ten signs with that trade mark detail and every one has periods after the abbreviations. Print is a little sloppy, I agree. What does the back side look like? I had similar concerns about a large arciform sign I purchased a couple years back, earlycoke provided interesting feedback about the screen printing process:

Several of the same or similar have been sold recently on eBay.

It sure is hard tellin' , not knowin'..... but to me the holes look a bit large and kinda out of place ( see page 225 of the 12th).

Thank-you for the link Dave! Mine was the second one, so I guess I scored a deal compared to the rest@ $28, but they all look the same, with no periods and fuzzy lettering.
Are they all fakers?HMMM could be!

You are right there Tommy, but the sign in the book looks to me to be the rolled edge sign, not a rack sign(which are flat). The examples Dave posted all have the same aged look, which makes me think they are all fakes, made to decieve, as there are so many of them all with the exact same age wear/no periods.
