Old Costume Jewelry Necklace

This old necklace was in the $5 grab bag I bought in 1973 at an estate sale. I have no idea how old it is but it's just metal, tarnished but interesting to me. I wear some of this old jewelry for old fashioned type events or just because I like it ! The woman that had died must have had a house full of jewelry including a lot of Sarah Conventry. I wished I had bought all 3 gallon bags of jewelry but whoever sacked it up did not get all the matching pieces put together.
