My daughter got me this, it is my very first Vintage machine. It is a Singer 1932 No. 28 Handcrank. I have always wanted a vintage machine.

A 28K made at the Kilbowie factory, near Glasgow in Scotland. From a batch of 5,000 (small batch by Singer standards) commissioned 12 July 1932.
If you need a manual there is a free one on the Singer website http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals
