    Dont know much about this other than I received when my grandmother passed away in 1982. My mom remembers it hanging above their dining room table when she was young.

    The electric sockets have the letter "A" on the paddle - thought I could get close to the age of this hanging lamp by identifing the age of the sockets but thus far haven't been able to.

      The letter A is for Arrow, a socket manufacturer. The maker of the shade could have been one of several companies. It is such a nice design that it has been reproduced over the years, but yours appears to be original for the early 1900's. Thank you for sharing it.
