February 6, 1971, The first golf ball on the moon. Not many can make a claim like that. The Spalding ‘Moon Ball’ as it has become known in the golf ball-collecting world.
Apollo 14 commander Allen Shepard hit a number of golf balls while on the lunar surface, this ball was issued by Spalding to commemorate the event. Commander Shepard was not the average hacker.
