    This was purchased at a swap meet. No idea what it is called or how old it is. There are no markings on it. Someone painted it at some point. Any help would be great. Thank You.

      I think it might be one of the early Irish Mail cars. The 3-wheel and this type steering were later considered unsafe for children.

      It is called the V-RROOM X-15 by Mattel toys made around the early 1970s or before. It made a loud VROOOM sound when it was peddled. Your's seems very intact.
