I have no idea what this is. I found it at an estate sale. The date 1908 is inscribed on the colored glass with the name Sven on it as well.

These were purchased at State Fairs back in the day. Fairly common, ruby flash glass souvineer.

That was cool info. Thanks for the link. I researched Sven 1908, and the only thing I could get was that it was linked to some Ohio Glass Co. At least I know what to put it up for on Ebay. This was a great site to post my mysteries, since I'm new to antiques. If you're on facebook, you can find me on my community page as Pickin' Mama's Treasure Chest. Good to meet ya, Dizzydave

I just got a piece like this myself from my Aunt that belonged to my Grandmothers Brother. Dated just like the one you have. :) Dizzydave is right on with his info about it.

It was made by the Adams Glass Co. The star on the bottom is on the original and usually not on the reproductions. The date means it was made as a souvenir piece

@savethetoys and bhgrove Thanks! Is it fair to put a $19.95 price tag on it, then? And is this considered a cut glass mug? I want to make sure I add the right description on it on ebay.
