This is a little painting my father got as a present in the 50's. The story goes that a local artist had a cat with a litter of kittens, and she tried very hard to find good homes for the little ones. My father felt compelled to take one, and as a thank you, the woman gave him the small painting.
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks petey, nldionne and mustangtony :)
Your father sounds like a kind man! I am sure that the owner of this painting was pleased to have the kitten go with him.
Well, like all men, he was human. But, yes, he was kind and caring. Thank you so much for your comment miKKoChristmas11 :)
Thanks vetraio50:)
