My dad , a farmer in Martin County Minnesota, found this pipe while working in the field. I have not been able to find any info about the pipe, but lots of info about col. Weber. Any information would be appreciated.

Interesting in that it has his face etc. but appears to never have been used. maybe a series put out by some artist?

Kevin, #2 is a true, unadultrated pre-combat innocent clap-trap. Wonder how the same person wound have worded it later? Sure is easy to shoot one's mouth off before being shot at or shot. Glad you shared this PRE-war declaration with us. Innocence before the War was fast cured. Also in all wars. National fevor wains quick after you have a bullet go thru you! Commemorative pipes are a German tradition. This one with it's German-American Civil War connection is an absolute gem.
