I got this radio back in 1962 from a guy I worked a summer job with. It was all original and worked fine but through the years, the components aged and the filters started leaking and making a bad hum, so I stopped using it for fear of doing damage. In 1999, I sent it out for a complete electrical and cosmetic restoration and now it is my main radio again. I was lucky to get this with a near perfect original grill cloth and all of the wooden knobs. The dial glass was missing so the restorer made one for it. It gets AM and short wave and has two speed tuning. The outer tuning knob is for fast tuning and the smaller inner knob is for fine tuning. A nice, collectible cathedral radio of the era. By the way, all the tubes that were in it in 1962 are still working fine!
