Box and Passenger Train set with clockwork mechanism labeled Dinky 438. I have not found this item on any Dinky list, perhaps the box is not the original, but the label has 438 clearly on it and the train and cars look exactly like Dinky Train set. Rust on item looks like it could easily be cleaned up.

Meccano Dinky toys produced a few train sets, but all of them using Zamac (die-cast), tinplate or pressed steel was not used, the design in the box does not match with the standard Dinky boxes of gift sets, it could be a vintage reproduction.

      Nevertheless a very cool piece!

Mystery solved, I have the same model with a Dinky Toys N ° 438 box with a tin train set with mechanical clockwork and I also discovered that it is forgeries because you can buy these tin trains on Ebay for 15 pounds Made In China under the name (Vintage Retro Wind Up Tinplate Train Clockwork Collectable Tin Toys Blue) and these are given an aged look by forger
So a warning to the collectors do not let yourself be deceived as I have been deceived
