Don't know much about this but it sure looks old. My Uncle left it and I don't know if was from his world war two stuff or from my grandfathers world war one stuff

It is fraternal-- age is hard to tell based on what is shown. I would ball park it to very late 19th/ early 20th century. Markings on the leather or insignia back may help to narrow it down.

no markings other than a 38 which i guess is a size did they do that back then?
