This may be a great find or just a 60's decorator piece. I picked it up this afternoon at the "Volunteers of America" thrift store. It's really a large heavy piece 16 " tall and 10" in diameter at the center. Finished in an "off white" satin glaze. It looks Asian and at the same time has a 60's look. I guess you could call it a "gourd" vase. There are no marks or labels. The center seam is clearly visible at the middle showing it was made in two pieces and may be part of the design. A few runs and drips too. The inside is glazed. The whole piece shows crazing but only in the bright sunlight. So I guess it has some age to it. I think it's really great even if it isn't by anyone important.I'll keep searching. So far I haven't seen anything online yet. -Mike-
