Found this in my grandmothers old jewelry

I found this watch after me and my mom were going through my grandmother's old jewelry. I just wanted to know the year it was made, any special things about it and, if willing, a value on just the watch, the chain was not included. I've seen other watches like it but none that match the exact characteristics.
