    Whenever I see anything that is Asian or appears old I'm hoping it's the really deal. Identifying Chinese and Japanese porcelain is a very specialized field that requires expert advice. They had a high price on this initially at GW so they must have thought it was better and not a common piece, but who knows. Sticker change Sunday price... one dollar! Looks like this is headed to my friends at the Asian Art Forum. They helped me ID my Imari plates as being 19th century antiques ! -Mike-

      I've been told that this is 18th century as well only Japanese and not Chinese as I had originally thought. This is based on one persons reply to my Asian Art forum post. This one has no restoration or damage. Score 2 ! :)

      This is up for speculation at the moment. I'm seeing these on Ebay as early 20th century and Japanese art pottery.
