Carl “Yaz” Yastrzemski never quite got the national fanfare he deserved for his accomplishments on the baseball diamond. He played 23 years with the Boston Red Sox, went to 18 All-Star games, and won three batting titles, seven Gold Gloves, and an MVP award. Nonetheless when pundits list the greatest players of all time, Yastrzemski’s name is often omitted.
Nonetheless, Yastrzemski memorabilia is still very collectible, largely because he is a Red Sox legend (the Red Sox Nation are among the most devoted fans in baseball). His baseball cards are his most sought-after items.
