Hello all! Looking for some help to identify this old trunk. I picked it up today at an estate sale for $20. Everyone kept walking past it so I figured it didn't have much value, but for 20 bucks what the heck. All of the hinges and latches are in tact, but it's in pretty poor condition as far as rust and missing handles. The picture in the lid has a lady in a row boat and the boat says "Annie" on the side. The metal tag above the lock is broken, but what is there says "Mar1880" Any help/comments are welcomed and greatly appreciated!!

I think you got a deal. It is going to take some work but I believe well worth it when you are done. Will you restore it? There are many note worthy comments on this site for helpful hints as how to go about the labor intensive process. It has always been fun for me to "bring these beauties back to life." to quote the much appreciated trunkman. Good luck.
