I know the inside is brass, the outside does not respond to a magnate. It is hand soldered. I found one similar the other night on google images but the photo did lead me a website on Ebay under Islamic and Asian Antiques. It has been buried at one time as dirt and mud was caked inside of it. That is about all I know and would appreciate any feedback-Thanks

    From the filigree aspects & design I think this is Indian brass or possibly their silver, similar to ones in silver I used to own, but cannot tell by picture if silver for sure, don't know what percent silver it may be, but if silver should be marked.

    more pics of bottom and inside; and what are dimensions. Looks like possibly thin copper insert; is it removable?
